Carol R. Mitchell, known as ‘Mitch’, has had a successful career providing quality investment advice to Wealthy Individuals and Institutional Investors; Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Pension Funds and Insurance Funds over the span of 40 years. Mitch is currently the CEO and Portfolio Manager of iMaGiNe Wealth Management, a small hedge fund company specializing in long/short U.S. equities. Prior to Founding iMaGiNe, Mitch was a Senior Institutional Sales Representative and Director for 18 years with both Merrill Lynch Canada and its predecessor company Midland Walwyn Inc. During Mitch’s first half dozen years in the Investment Business, she built a substantial retail book of business at Wood Gundy Inc. Ms. Mitchell earned an Honours Physical Education undergraduate degree from York University. She received an MBA from McMaster University co-op program – completing her work terms at Wood Gundy Inc.- majoring in International Finance, and was awarded a Japanese scholarship to live and study in Japan for six months thereafter. In 2015, Mitch recognized the void in the medical services and treatment available for Menopausal Women, as well as the societal stigmatization of Menopause. Mitch trailblazed, and established the Carol Mitchell Menopause Chair at Mount Sinai Hospital. This is the first Chair in North America focused on Research and expanding the number of quality doctors focused on the treatment of Menopause.
Peter joined iMaGiNe Wealth Management as an Associate in April 2024. Prior to joining iMaGiNe Wealth, Peter worked at Manulife Private Wealth as an Associate. At Manulife, he effectively managed and grew client portfolios for superiors by providing dedicated relationship management, complex financial services support, and exceptional client service. Previous to that, Peter worked at TD Investment Services as an Investment Consultant where he provided appropriate investment recommendations that met the needs of clients through extensive financial literacy and knowledge of market trends. Peter holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo with a minor in Economics (Honours). From a professional standpoint, he earned his CSC designation and is looking to pursue and obtain his CFA.
